Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with software developers, QA, support teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Designing test strategies, test plans, and test artifacts based on project requirements, and executing end-to-end testing for Order Entry and Market Data systems.
  • Analyzing test results, tracking and reporting defects, and validating resolutions to ensure software quality prior to production releases.
  • Leading release validation activities, including reviewing test outcomes, signing off on production deployments, and communicating release readiness to system users.
  • Developing and maintaining test environments, technical specifications, and automated test solutions using the Python-based Behave BDD framework while driving continuous improvements to testing processes.
Qualifications
  • A bachelors degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, with at least 24 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
  • Expertise in Python programming, with working knowledge of Linux, system administration, network fundamentals, and environment management.
  • Experience with software development and testing methodologies, including BDD and TDD, and the ability to develop and execute test plans from informal specifications provided by developers and risk managers.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools, with working knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, Git, and C++; familiarity with cryptocurrency markets is a plus.
  • Brilliant problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
