Responsibilities

Within the Socit Gnrale Group, GTPS provides integrated expertise in Transaction Banking and Payments Services.

As an Incident Analyst Intern within the Incident Coordination Unit (CCI), the intern supports the coordination, follow-up, and communication of payment and IT-related incidents, in close collaboration with operational teams, technical control towers, Business Lines, and transversal functions such as Risk and Compliance.

The intern also contributes to the continuous improvement of incident management processes, helping ensure the smooth, secure, and efficient routing of flows across the Information System.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the prioritization of incidents based on urgency, business impact, and operational flow.
  • Assist in the coordination and follow-up of payment and IT-related incidents, ensuring the timely involvement of the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ensure the communication of incidents with operational teams, technical teams, and internal partners throughout the incident lifecycle.
  • Provide functional support to team members on incident management processes and change-related topics.
  • Participate in the preparation and update of incident management documentation, including procedures and protocols.
  • Follow incidents from the initial impact assessment through resolution and post-incident follow-up.
  • Contributes to the proper logging and traceability of incidents and resolutions to support analysis and help prevent recurring issues.
  • Participates in other support activities within the department, depending on business needs.

Profile required

  • Very good command of English and French (B2+/C1).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to react quickly and perform fast, structured analysis in a dynamic environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with different stakeholders.
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
  • High level of rigor, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Interest in banking operations, payment flows, and incident management.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a cross-functional and international environment.
