Job Title

• 1 Trainee (12 months programme) for Debt. Capital Market Department within SOCIETE GENERALE CORPORATE & INVESTMENT BANKING (SG CIB) SG Securities Korea. This program is expected to commence as early as possible.

Job Description (Eng) 

• Support the Korea Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team across the full range of DCM products, assisting in the origination and execution of offshore bond issuances for policy banks, commercial banks, public institutions, and corporate clients.
• Conduct market research and analysis using Bloomberg Terminal, research publications, and market data sources, covering macroeconomic developments, interest rate trends, funding markets, and global capital market conditions.
• Prepare pitchbooks, presentations, market updates, and other marketing materials tailored to client needs and market development
• Assist in transactions by supporting documentation, execution processes, internal approvals, and transaction-related materials, while reporting to the local head of the team.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with local and global DCM professionals, syndicate partners, and clients.
• Support clients ad hoc requests and provide assistance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Assist in internal operational processes, including KYC/KYS requirements, regulatory documentation, and other administrative procedures related to transaction execution.

• Undergraduate student remaining one semester before graduation (Preferred)
• Major in Business Administration preferred, or possess a basic understanding of macroeconomics, financial products (particularly fixed income), and derivatives
• Relevant work experience and interest in pursuing a professional career in the Banking/Finance industry 
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Korean 
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal and the ability to handle, analyze, and process financial market data is a plus
• Effective communications and strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent Team Player
