Job Description:

Job Purpose

The primary objective of IT Ops Site Engineer is to: Ensure that an efficient, accurate, consistent and timely e2e support and operations service is delivered to Mobility business in STAS and SPAS companies through Site Systems platform and connected applications portfolio.

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for End-to-End daily operation of site systems (including mobility telecoms.)
  • Responsible for NFR systems of both Dealer Owned & Company Owned network.
  • Responsible for the vendor & contract management (i.e. Site Systems/VIS, NFR systems, Telecoms etc).
    • Improves processes by holding regular meetings with the local vendors
    • Maintains asset tracking and initiates the recycling or disposal process when the lifecycle is complete
    • Conducts Business Performance Reviews with major suppliers and ensures business stakeholders are involved in these sessions
    • Attend regular site visits to address the gaps and drive process improvement initiatives
    • Ensure SLAs/Agreements and targets are met for businesses with regards to various Site systems applications and infrastructure.
    • Tracks contracts together with CP and provides support during renewal periods, including price negotiations.
  • Ensures all on-site IT equipment remains up to date and takes ownership of resolving any security vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with the business units to ensure that issues are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to new product and service development, participate in projects...
  • Responsible for creating PRs/POs, monitoring invoices, and capitalizing SOM assets.
  • Managing escalation process for Global Ticket and actively monitor/follow up respective teams to resolve tickets/requests.
  • Responsibility for support of the local End-to-End processes covering Call Management, Change and Problem Management.
  • Working in full compliance with ISO27001 Information Security Management System.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Professional qualification Minimum 7 years relevant IT experience
  • Analytical and questioning mindset
  • Architectural approach for systems in designing long term solutions
  • Solid understanding Downstream business processes and systems IFSF & ISO8583 standards knowledge & troubleshooting
  • Practical hands-on ability to resolve the problems related to above systems.
  • Good team player and able to efficiently work and communicate with 3rd party service providers
  • Customer focused and able to provide training to the customer
  • Able to deliver under time pressure and deliver on strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independent
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • No travel restrictions.
  • Good Business English, written and oral
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Result oriented

Special Challenges:

  • The operational nature of the role will require out-of-hour working, sometimes unplanned and on call
  • Needs to be able to deal with state of the art, differentiated and often unproven technologies which require some learning on the job
  • Needs to be comfortable with sometimes vague and changing scope and priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to ensure one team mindset across the various teams to drive effective delivery
