Mid-Senior Software Developer (Programmatras izstrdtjs/-a) in Trading team | SEB, Riga

Our Trading team builds and develops important applications that support trading services used by our Baltic clients. We work in an environment where attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving matter a lot but just as important is how we support each other and work as a team.

Build and maintain applications

Work closely with business developers (analysts) to ensure smooth delivery and quality

Investigate and resolve issues quickly and effectively

Create and maintain technical documentation

Work in a highly autonomous team owning scope, planning, and delivery

3+ years of experience with Java (Spring Boot)

3+ years of experience with TypeScript (Angular)

Strong knowledge of databases and storage (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, S3, Hibernate)

Experience with build and deployment tools (Maven, Docker, OpenShift, Argo CD, Jenkins)

Familiarity with testing practices (e.g., JUnit, Playwright)

Solid understanding of modern tech stack (REST API, JSON/XML, Tomcat, Logback, Ehcache)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
