We are now looking for a Client Executive to join our team in Stockholm. You will be working with a dynamic portfolio of corporate clients across a wide range of industries. SEB Growth is a prioritized business area for SEB wth focus on further growth and we aim to take the position as the strongest brand in the Swedish mid-market. SEB Growth oversees SEBs risk, profitability and relationships for a portfolio of small and medium sized companies with emphasis on the following business areas; AI, deep tech, green transition and arms & defense with focus on innovation and growth. Our goal is to lead the industry in customer satisfaction for our targeted business segment. We are committed to growing both with existing clients and by onboarding new, targeted companies. We focus on the corporate segment, where industry-specific expertise as well as analytical craftmanship is essential in order to build strong client relationships, provide proactive advisory and offer SEBs full range of products and services.
About the role:
As a Client Executive, you will lead your client team and directly contribute to our growth agenda and ambition to lead the corporate segment in Sweden by leveraging our core capabilities, enhancing scalability, and delivering an outstanding client experience for both existing corporate clients and new business prospects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the client team in day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with Business and Retail Bankings strategy and values.
- Take responsibility for a defined group of corporate clients, serving as the primary point of contact for SEBs offerings and proactively managing relationships with existing clients and driving prospecting of new clients.
- Identify new business opportunities through strategic dialogue and collaboration with SEBs product teams, such as Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Venture Debt, Markets, Private Wealth Management our Branch offices and more.
- Oversee credit risk management and drive business development in close cooperation with the client and your client team.
This role is based in Stockholm.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- A higher academic degree in economics or a related field, along with a Swedsec license.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, relationship management, and credit, from a corporate banking environment.
- Experience from working with more complex, both national and international, corporate clients.
- A strong analytical skill from both a business- and credit perspective.
- A solid understanding of banking products and services.
- Great interest in sustainability and digitalization with the eagerness to expand your expertise in these areas.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with a strong reputation in your professional environment.
- A commercially driven approach with the ability to lead, motivate, and coach team members.
As a Client Executive, and an informal leader for your client team, you are expected to create the best conditions to deliver on Business and Retail Banking Swedens business plan, KPIs, and strategic initiatives to drive your clients forward.
