The team

You will be working closely across various teams including the UK, Middle East, Germany and Swiss domestic markets, working together to cover and service affluent clients and accounts earmarked for closure. The team collaborates closely with internal partners (e.g. Compliance, Operations, Investment Specialists, Credit and Onboarding) and our other international entities where relevant.

 

What youll do

  • Management of the Termination Pool
    • Management and oversight of the Termination Pool, which will contain clients that are earmarked for exit but where closure is not possible
    • Prioritise closure of the Termination Pool accounts where possible, proactively exploring opportunities for exiting widely-held illiquid assets and collaborating with the Private Assets team and Legal & Compliance
    • Assist existing relationship managers with the process of transitioning clients into the Termination Pool
    • Ensure the maintenance and servicing of the accounts of the Termination Pool. This includes meeting all regulatory requirements including client reviews as necessary
    • Throughout the process, including transition to the Termination Pool, ongoing maintenance and ultimately account closure, ensure high quality service and protect the reputation of the bank
  • Management and development of the Affluent client book
    • Build trust with clients and effectively manage relationships
    • Understand clients need and objectives and be responsible for advising on and implementing investments and banking solutions
    • Leverage and coordinate all resources of the Bank to deliver excellence in execution for client queries and transactions
    • Ensure high quality service and protect the reputation of the bank
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow assets of clients
    • Follow all regulations, policies, and standards across markets. This includes meeting all regulatory requirements including client reviews as necessary

 

The Affluent book consists of accounts with long term growth potential and assets below the minimum requirements (currently defined as

 

The Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications You Need

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or relationship management, with a proven track record of managing and growing client relationships 
  • Experience managing existing client portfolios and finding opportunities to deepen client engagement and grow assets under management
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management solutions 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
