Who were looking for
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our Procurement Transformation agenda as we build a strong foundation for the function going forward. You will play a role in ensuring the success of the Procurement strategic agenda.We're after a passionate change professional who will lead the design, delivery, and adoption of data and reporting capabilities within the Procurement Transformation Programme. The role ensures that procurement data (e.g., spend, supplier, risk, TPRM, and performance metrics) is accurate, governed, and enables strategic decision-making across the organisation.You will operate within a structured programme environment, leveraging programme artefacts (e.g., project plans, RAID logs, solution designs, etc.) to drive delivery, ensure governance, and support senior stakeholder decision-making. Youll be assertive, collaborative and flexible, and will have a proven track record of delivery on diverse range of projects.

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. Were close to our clients, in the heart of the UKs financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly. Youll be based in our London office, 3 days a week, working remotely for 2 days a week. This may flex depending on workshops and project scheduling.
The team
This role is within the Corporate Change Team. We are a friendly, supportive and collaborative team comprising of Programme and Project, Business Analysts and PMO specialists who manage the delivery of change programmes and projects across Schroders Corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the data and reporting workstream, ensuring alignment with procurement transformation roadmap, milestones, and priorities.
Establish and maintain robust delivery governance, including:
o Integrated delivery plans and milestone tracking (high-level and detailed)
o RAID logs, dependency management, and risk mitigation strategies
o Regular progress updates to Business Sponsors and programme team
o Regular status reporting, resource management and forecasting
o Align deliverables with programme and strategic business outcomes
Manage and co-ordinate data cleanse activities to ensure reliable, accurate and complete, to support tactical reports and the strategic data infrastructure work streams
Work with Procurement leadership and stakeholders to define requirements, develop the approach and manage delivery of tactical critical reports (Day 0 and 1) which will combine spend, risk and supplier contract data in a manual way
Lead and organise the project team to ensure deliverables are completed and signed-off by Business Sponsors on time and in line with the plan
Work with key stakeholders to define the requirements and approach for building the foundational data infrastructure. This will include defining source aligned data products to enable source system integrations and data flows into Snowflake, to enable consumer aligned reporting and automation in 2027
Develop both manual and strategic data mastering models to enable unified data across multiple systems including Oracle (supplier, contract and spend), ServiceNow (risk), Supplier Vision (supplier), Optimize (contract) and other systems
Work across multiple teams (internal, external, technology, third parties) to co-ordinate delivery
Build strong working relationships with Procurement, and their business stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
Develop and implement change management and comms plans to embed the change in Procurement and business users
Prepare clear documentation, project artefacts, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
Understanding of the Asset Management industry and Corporate functions.
Understanding and experience of the disciplines of a Procurement function (essential),
Proven experience delivering data and reporting workstreams within transformation programmes, particularly developing data and reporting structures (essential)
Ability to operate across traditional programme and project delivery methodologies in particular experience of Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience of project management; planning, co-ordination and ensuring the business outcomes and timelines are achieved on time, to budget and quality (risk management/ escalation)
Experience designing or working with modern data architectures (e.g., Snowflake)
Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data modelling concepts
Experience in procurement data domains (spend, supplier, contract, TPRM) and experience with Oracle Procurement / ERP systems
Experience with data mastering (MDM) tools or approaches
Ensure appropriate project governance is followed and collate supporting documents
Experience of working with senior business stakeholders, and confident to challenge in order to develop the right solution for the business
Logical, structured thought processes and good problem-solving skills
Good relationship management skills - able to engage with and gain confidence of others and maximise their contribution to the process. Able to develop effective relationships across the business and the wider change management community
Strong communication skills - written, pictorial, presentational and verbal at all levels within the organisation
Able to demonstrate initiative and work independently
Able to work well in a team
Demonstrable high-quality outputs and business outcomes
