We operate a hybrid working model, with a requirement that our Senior Client Director be in the office 3 days per week. This is to sustain our culture of innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and building relationships within the business.

 

The Team

We are seeking for a Client Director, to join our team to accelerate the growth of our intermediary business in the US offshore space. Our team is dedicated to servicing the largest intermediary clients, including national and regional broker-dealers and banks, global private banks, funds of funds, and wealth platforms. 

 

Position Overview

This individual will engage directly with home office, gatekeepers, portfolio managers and product specialists to position the firms full suite of public and private investment capabilities (ETFs, SMAs, mutual funds, semi liquid funds, and drawdown funds). This individual will also help with developing key account relationships for targeted prospects. 

The client director plays a critical role in supporting the channels growth and expansion efforts by advancing the distribution of Schroders strategies and capabilities across the segment. 

 

Responsibilities

  • This role will be responsible for supporting the product onboarding, driving research placement, and influencing model allocations at some of the largest intermediary firms, partnering across internal stakeholders to help accelerate adoption of Schroders investment solutions
  • Drive adoption of Schroders investment solutions with home office portfolio managers by diagnosing client-specific needs, developing a deep understanding of model and portfolio construction, identifying allocation opportunities, and proactively anticipating changes driven by investment objectives and goals
  • Cultivating high-level, long-term partnerships with gatekeepers, research analysts, and product specialists at large financial intermediaries.
  • Collaborate internally with wholesaling teams, client portfolio managers, and product development team to address clients needs
  • Manage prospect activity, teams pipeline and follow-ups 
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to launch product initiatives and campaigns 

 

Qualifications

  • Must possess a college degree with a preferred major of Business/economics or related careers. CFA or CAIA, and/or an MBA are a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in asset management or private banking. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a robust interest and knowledge of capital markets, investment products and alternative investments. Established relationships and knowledge of platform partners is a plus
  • Highly motivated, commercial mindset with a disciplined approach to prospecting / pipeline mgmt.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage key partners, present sales materials, and convey technical product information.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives partnering across investment, product, and marketing teams
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences
  • Possession of FINRA Series 7,and 63 licenses or must obtain within three (3) months of employment commencement.

 

Compensation

Schroders offers a base salary in a range of $125,000 to $150,000 for this position.

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
