- Proficient in Excel (including basic formulae), Word and PowerPoint; experience with data analytics (Tableau, Power BI) or coding (SQL, Python) is beneficialThe teamThe purpose of Group Internal Audit (GIA) is to strengthen Schroders ability to create, protect, and sustain value by providing the Board and management with independent, risk-based, and objective assurance, advice, and insights. To achieve this, GIA provides challenge and assurance over the Groups control environment, risk management and governance arrangements implemented by management. Accordingly, GIA comprises the third line of defence and works closely with Business teams and Risk & Compliance functions the first and second lines of defence, respectively.GIA operates globally from headquarters in London, with permanent teams in Luxembourg and Singapore. The department consists of approximately 25 professionals from diverse backgrounds in practice, industry, and specialisms, organised into sub-teams covering Asset Management (public and private markets), Wealth Management, and Operations & Technology. The team is led by the Head of Group Internal Audit, reporting primarily to the Chair of the Board Audit and Risk Committee and secondarily to the Group Chief Executive.Knowledge, experience and qualifications were looking for:
- You should be due to graduate in 2027, or have recently graduated, and be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, an honours degree (or equivalent). We welcome applications from all degree subjects.
- A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
