Investment Banking & Embedded Support Functions | New York, NY
We are seeking a Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner to support leaders across Investment Banking and its embedded support functions. This role partners closely with business and functional leaders to deliver practical, high-impact HR solutions that drive organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
The VP, HRBP supports a diverse, matrixed client group and balances strategic advisory work with hands-on execution, strong employee relations judgment, and the ability to influence leaders at multiple levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR partner to assigned Investment Banking and embedded support leaders, advising on workforce planning, talent, performance, and organizational effectiveness
- Execute core talent processes including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and annual compensation cycles
- Partner with regional and global HR teams (Legal, Employee Relations, Benefits, etc) to deliver consistent, compliant, and business-aligned solutions
Qualifications
- Demonstrated progressive HR experience, inclusive of prior HRBP experience
- Experience in complex, matrixed, and regulated environments (financial services preferred)
- Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge
- Proven consultative, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Strong Excel skills required, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; advanced macros or VBA not required.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
