We're looking for a strategic Health and Safety Specialist to support our worldwide physical security operations. You'll safeguard our employees, offices, and assets by developing and executing comprehensive security strategies.

As a seasoned safety professional, you'll assist in defining our physical security mission and integrate security into our global expansion.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and building a safe working environment locally and globally through standardised health and safety processes
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international health and safety legislation, and translating legal requirements into company policies
  • Conducting risk assessments across new and existing offices, and proactively identifying workplace hazards
  • Monitoring health and safety performance, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams as the health and safety subject matter expert to deliver strategic projects
  • Reporting on health and safety performance against key metrics and business objectives
  • Overseeing fire safety compliance across facilities, and coordinating emergency response planning
  • Managing health and safety administration, including training records, employee inductions, and statutory reporting
  • Executing operational safety programmes through site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and first-aid compliance
  • Serving as the primary health and safety contact, partnering with HR, Legal, and building management to resolve safety matters and coordinate committee meetings

What you'll need

  • Qualifications required to act as a safety officer in Poland
  • 5+ years of experience in workplace safety within a global organisation
  • Fluency in English
  • A solid understanding of health and safety legislation, regulatory compliance, and EHS best practices
  • Expertise in risk management and risk assessments, including supporting business expansion into new countries
  • Excellent strategic planning skills and the ability to align health and safety initiatives with business objectives
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse, international teams
  • Experience developing and implementing health and safety strategies, policies, and programmes

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech
  • Experience managing global employee safety and duty of care programmes
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of JavaScript for workflow automation and scripting

Compensation range

  • Krakow: PLN9,000 - PLN12,500 gross monthly*
  • Poland: PLN9,000 - PLN12,500 gross monthly*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
