About the role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

Were looking for a Company Secretary to play a pivotal role in supporting our local governance. You'll lead committee support, manage alignment with local regulators, and ensure the Board is fully informed of their legal responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing autonomous governance to support expansion in New Zealand
  • Preparing agendas, circulating meeting packs, and tracking post-meeting action items within set timeframes
  • Participating actively in board meetings and drafting accurate, comprehensive minutes
  • Maintaining statutory registers, managing document execution, and filing returns with the Companies Office
  • Assisting the Legal team to ensure full compliance with local regulations
  • Communicating and influencing effectively at the executive and board levels
  • Delivering high-impact initiatives aimed at improving and scaling the local governance function
  • Representing Revolut in New Zealand before public institutions and regulatory bodies
  • Ensuring robust local governance standards while aligning key processes across the global group
  • Assisting junior colleagues with their development and supporting the quality of their work

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate secretarial role
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as law, business, or a professional company secretarial certification
  • Experience within a financial institution or the technology sector
  • A solid understanding of local corporate governance, company law, and conflict of interest management
  • Solid team skills and the ability to build excellent relationships at the executive level
  • The ability to lead board and committee arrangements effectively
  • Proven skills in drafting clear and concise minutes
  • The capability to own legal entity compliance activity with minimal support
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Resilience and the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
