Join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in delivering one of the bank's most significant regulatory change programmes, supporting implementation of the New Zealand Deposit Takers Act (NZ DTA).
About the Role | M te Tranga
This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with Product Owners, Road Managers, Business Analysts and subject matter experts across the organisation to support the delivery of regulatory and business change initiatives.
You'll help bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and business execution, ensuring solutions are practical, compliant and aligned to Rabobank's operating model.
Partner with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Technology to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable solutions that strengthen governance and support the bank's future success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the interpretation of NZ DTA standards and translating regulatory requirements into clear business requirements
- Capturing and documenting current-state processes and supporting the design of future-state processes
- Assisting with organisational, operational and process impact assessments
- Supporting stakeholder engagement, discovery activities, workshops and working sessions
- Documenting and maintaining requirements, decisions and traceability artefacts
- Supporting the development and update of policies, processes, procedures and staff guidance materials
- Working with technology teams to support system and process change requirements
- Assisting with user acceptance testing, quality assurance and implementation activities
- Identifying and escalating risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions
- Contributing to the successful delivery of programme objectives and milestones
About You
You'll be an experienced Senior Business Analyst who enjoys working in complex environments and can translate business and regulatory requirements into practical outcomes. You'll be comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and bringing structure to ambiguity.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Proven business analysis experience within banking, financial services or a regulated industry
- Strong requirements elicitation, documentation and traceability skills
- Experience with process mapping, process improvement and future-state design
- Knowledge of operational risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience supporting testing, change and implementation activities
- The ability to work collaboratively across business and technology teams
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
