As Area Manager, youll lead business growth and profitability across your Area by coaching and mentoring Relationship Managers and embedding a strong culture of bestpractice relationship management. You will play a key role in achieving and exceeding Country Banking New Zealands revenue targets while maintaining strong credit quality and client satisfaction.
We are looking for a highly credible and experienced people leader, with the capability to get the best from their team, through effective coaching, mentoring and fostering a culture of best practice and high performance. You will have an open and collaborative working style, and quickly gain trust and respect.
This pivotal role you will take responsibility for successfully leading a team to achieve business development and profitability outcomes across the region.
The role will have responsibility for a region where Rabobank has a strong market dominance. Its crucial that we find a candidate who has the ability, foresight, and acumen to lead the team and continue the great work.

To thrive in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Exceptional leadership with the proven ability to achieve success through others.
- A strategic mind-set and ability to consider long-term and broader implications.
- A strong commercial acumen.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar senior-level role, ideally gained within rural banking.
- Strong customer-centric approach and a solid understanding of the rural sector.
