About the role
Rabobanks Technology team within the COO Domain is at the heart of enabling & supporting our business across Australia & New Zealand. From securing digital infrastructure to delivering scalable data & technology solutions, the team drives innovation, stability, security & collaboration across the organisation. The Data & Analytics Platform team within Technology is hiring for a Test Analyst
Testing activities will span Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Operations Acceptance Testing (OAT), with SIT conducted alongside development. You will work closely with development & technical teams to ensure a solid understanding of business & functional requirements & deliver high-quality testing outcomes.
Top Role Responsibilities:
- Execute Test Plans across BAU activities & selected projects
- Design test cases & prepare test procedures, test conditions & test cases
- Test functional specifications, interfaces & reporting solutions
- Perform reviews of business process documentation & other testing deliverables
- Support the team to meet testing milestones & project deadlines
- Proactively identify & communicate testing risks, issues & delays
- Use Quality Centre to monitor testing progress & manage defects
- Maintain test documentation & provide accurate, timely reporting.
To be successful you will have:
- 5 years' testing experience within banking or a similar environment
- Experience with Azure Data Factory / Data Lake , Power BI & API Testing
- Validate business rules, aggregation logic, and reporting outputs.
- The ability to always relate test objectives back to user requirements & product risks.
- Knowledge of retail banking & compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills & the ability to align testing activities with business requirements & product risks
- Working knowledge of: MS SQL Server & HP SaaS Quality Centre / OpenText ALM/Quality Centre
- The ability to collaborate effectively across teams & build strong stakeholder relationships
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- ISTQB certification or equivalent highly regarded
- Experience working in an Agile or iterative development & testing environment highly regarded.
Location & Working Arrangements:
This role must be based in Sydney & offers a flexible hybrid working model of office & working from home.
