Were looking for an experienced Legal PA (Legal Secretary) to join our leading Restructuring & Insolvency team, supporting Partner and Head of Restructuring & Insolvency, Hannah Griffiths and team based primarily in our Sydney office. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded team of lawyers who advise on a variety of industry leading matters from insolvency practitioners, complex restructuring, and commercial disputes. In this fast-paced and intellectually stimulating practice, you will play a critical role in supporting the team, driving efficiency and delivering exceptional client service. 

Working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, you will be part of a collaborative network of Legal PAs across the firm, with opportunities to contribute to knowledge sharing, wellbeing, inclusion and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role

As a trusted member of the team, you will provide high-level support to Hannah and her lawyers, helping to ensure the smooth operation of a busy and successful practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing diaries, inboxes, travel arrangements and competing priorities

  • Coordinating client and matter administration, including onboarding, compliance, conflict checks and engagement documentation

  • Managing billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

  • Preparing correspondence, legal documents, presentations and other business-critical materials

  • Coordinating document production, records management, filing, expenses and general practice administration

  • Supporting junior team members through collaboration and knowledge sharing

About you

Were looking for a confident, proactive and solutions-focused Legal PA who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys supporting high-performing legal professionals. 

You will bring:

  • 3-8 years' experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary

  • Experience supporting a Partner and legal team in a busy law firm environment

  • End-to-end billing experience, ideally using Aderant

  • Strong client and matter administration experience, including compliance processes

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a client-focused approach

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Professionalism, discretion, sound judgement and a collaborative mindset
