Full Job Description

Location: Singapore

Background
We are looking to recruit a talented lawyer of 2 to 5+ PQE, from a top firm, to join the Firm's Projects team in Singapore.

The team advises on a broad mix of regional energy and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate would work on a wide range of projects and construction matters across the full project lifecycle.

The work is focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors, including renewable power, conventional power, and major infrastructure (transport, water, waste and social infrastructure projects). The team is particularly active on complex, large-scale projects across Asia Pacific, often advising on cross-border developments.
Consistent with the teams practice, the role will involve advising major developers, sponsors, contractors and suppliers on both front-end project structuring and construction documentation, as well as on the commercial and technical issues that arise during project delivery.

This is a role with significant client contact, and opportunities to work on high-value, complex infrastructure projects across the region. The role also includes undertaking business development and marketing activities with enthusiasm.

The Opportunity

  • The opportunity to work on complex, large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on project development, contracting and delivery.
  • Direct exposure to high-profile clients including developers, contractors and suppliers on market-leading projects.
  • Hands-on career guidance and supportive mentoring by experienced partners and senior lawyers with deep sector and technical expertise.
  • Responsibility and opportunities to develop strong commercial, technical and legal skills.
