In this role you will be responsible for advancing Optivers end-to-end experienced recruitment strategy to find, attract, and hire experienced technical talent. You will work closely with leaders across the business on what is needed now and into the future. This role will focus on technology recruitment. 

What youll do 

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, youll work alongside a passionate team of specialists, focusing on key areas that contribute to the teams goals. Responsibilities include: 

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, partnering with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, design interview processes, assess candidates, and lead complex offer negotiations through offer acceptance
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leaders, providing market insights, coaching on hiring best practices, and guiding hiring decisions through data and expertise
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent, leveraging market mapping, referrals, research, and creative outreach to build high-quality pipelines
  • Take a data-driven approach to monitoring pipeline health, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform hiring strategy
  • Deliver a white-glove candidate experience from initial engagement through offer acceptance, representing Optiver's culture throughout the recruitment journey

Who you are 

  • 6+ years experience in full-cycle recruitment for experienced talent, ideally in-house and within financial services, technology, or professional services
  • Past experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally within a competitive industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of the talent markets for engineers in software and hardware domains is highly advantageous
  • A consultative approach with demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders at all seniority levels.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep experience with applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse is a plus) and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter
  • The ability to analyze candidate data for reporting purposes, utilizing tools like Excel and AI technology
  • A proactive, positive mindset with a passion for identifying and hiring top talent 
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening

Below is the expected base salary for this position. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus (if determined by Optiver) and Optivers benefits package with the benefits listed above.
