What will you do
As a member of Oliver Wymans Data & Analytics team, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels from your very first day, helping clients solve their most pressing challenges. Our DNA team is committed to developing tailored solutions for clients around the globe, including designing potential solutions for analytical challenges, implementing various prototypes while also assessing their effectiveness, and engaging in discussions with clients and colleagues to share ideas. Your contributions will be invaluable to delivering impactful results for our clients.

- Developing an NLP-based machine learning toolkit to predict credit rating downgrades using news articles click here for more information

- Optimizing and developing a promotional program using data from historical promotions for an Asian health & beauty chain by deploying a promotion analytics toolkit
- Validating a customer-facing GenAI chatbot for an American bank
- Developing probability of default and loss models in Python for European and UK-based banks

Who Can Apply?
- Bachelor's, Masters, or PhD in a quantitative discipline from a top academic program (Data Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Data-driven mindset and proficiency with numbers, paired with the ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner to clients and colleagues
- Ideally, programming skills in Python or R, but more importantly, an eagerness to continuously extend your knowledge of technologies
- Strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a creative and constantly changing environment
- Excellent command of the English and Italian language (verbal and written)
- Interest and experience in financial services and risk management is a plus
- At least 6 months of previous working experience in specialised consulting firms, top tier banking or financial institutions.

Compensation Information

Remuneration
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, and a market-leading benefits package described below.
The expected base salary remuneration range for this position is between EUR 36.200 gross and EUR 43.000 gross per year (full-time equivalent).
The candidates eligible will receive also a 3.300 una-tantum sign on bonus in their first month of employment.
This amount is expressed as a full-time equivalent. The above base salary range has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria, in accordance with applicable law. Any final offer salaries may vary based on factors such as your unique blend of experience and skills, and our current organizational needs.
