Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the center of investment management in the Nordea Group and part of the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. NAM has around 900 employees in +15 different countries and manages around EUR 325bn in assets as of end of December 2025.

 
We are looking for a Business Controller to join NAMs Finance team, in Oeiras.

About this opportunity

Welcome to NAM Finance Team. We add value by ensuring high data integrity and key business insight in our deliveries towards stakeholders inside and outside Nordea Asset Management. As a business controller you will play a valuable role in making sure key stakeholders get the information that they need on NAMs business, within our areas of expertise, on a correct and timely manner.

• The role is based in Oeiras (Quinta da Fonte).
• Its expected you to work 100% on-site in the first 6 months and after on an Hybrid regime (3 days from Office + 2 days from home).

What youll be doing

• Be hands on and part of the regular reporting to stakeholders;
• Analyse and report on asset management KPIs like value and flows of assets under management, income and expenses / profitability, and other financial and non-financial metrics;
• Ensure data integrity by cross checking results and addressing inconsistencies;
• Answering ad-hoc requests and liaise with different stakeholders to understand their reporting needs; 

Youll join the local Finance team in Oeiras of 10 committed colleagues with different backgrounds and experiences, facilitating knowledge sharing and development in your daily work.

• Previous experience in a similar business controlling role in the financial services industry is a plus;
