Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and proactive Macro Trade Support Specialist to join our fast-paced support team for the Fixed Income & Commodities trading desks. In this strategic, high-impact role, you will oversee the end-to-end trade support lifecycle, drive process optimization, and mentor a small, dynamic team of trade support analysts. You will serve as a critical bridge connecting trading, sales, operations, risk, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Liaise: Act as the primary point of contact for trading management, advising on trade capture, P&L, and operational risk topics for FX, Rates, and Commodities products.

  • Own the Lifecycle: Manage and execute trade bookings, amendments, and exception handling to guarantee the timely, accurate representation of our trading books.

  • Innovate & Automate: Drive operational efficiency by leading process improvement and automation initiatives to success, partnering closely with our technology support teams.

  • Collaborate Globally: Partner with trading, sales, risk, compliance, and operations to resolve complex issues, streamline workflows, and support exciting new business initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.

  • Experience: 24 years of high-performing experience in front-office trade support or middle-office operations within global markets, with a dedicated focus on FX, Rates, and/or Commodities.

  • Technical & Financial Acumen: A solid grasp of P&L, risk, and operational control frameworks.

  • Systems Expertise: Advanced Excel skills; hands-on experience with Summit or Murex is highly preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across the front-to-back chain.

  • Mindset: A detail-oriented, proactive, and resilient professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 

The salary range for this associate-level position will be between $105,000 - $120,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
