Job Description


You are joining our Energy Transition and Natural Resources team, which is looking for six Investment Banking Analysts for internships of 6 months : two to be provided in January 2027, one in March 2027, two in July 2027, and one in September 2027.

You will be part of a team covering all key segments of the Energy Transition, including:

  • Low-carbon energy (electricity and renewable energies, hydrogen, SAF, bioenergy);
  • Critical metals and minerals;
  • Energy security and decarbonization;
  • Food, agriculture and natural capital.

The role of the team is to co-originate and co-execute transactions for Natixis clients across all banking solutions, including advisory (M&A, equity, debt), financing, capital markets and investment banking products.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be: 

  • Preparation of commercial pitches in coordination with other CIB business lines;
  • Production of ad hoc sectoral support (pitchbooks, mapping, benchmarking, etc.);
  • Support to the team in carrying out transactions and outstanding mandates;
  • Development of in-depth analytical expertise in the sectors of Energy Transition and Natural Resources;
  • Conducting financial analyses of companies;
  • Provision of sector information and analysis to the team, notably through daily newsletters.
