Job Description

You are joining the Leveraged Finance France team as VP.  In this team, we originate, arrange and execute leveraged operations (high yield bonds, leveraged loans, unitranche) within the framework of LBOs for private equity funds and leveraged financing operations using corporate high yield bonds.  

Your main daily tasks are as follows: 

• Originate, arrange and execute transactions;
• Develop a marketing approach with financial sponsors, corporate clients and debt advisors; 
• Analyze credit and market risks of transactions; 
• Track funding put in place for credit monitoring purposes and identifying business opportunities.

As VP, you are integrated into a project team set up for each operation and interact with internal partners (syndicate, rating advisory, agency, etc.) in order to carry out original transactions for French financial sponsors and/or corporates. This execution includes a comprehensive analysis of credit and market risks in order to obtain a credit agreement and the realization of the necessary equipment to syndicate the financing put in place.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

About you: If this is your description, you are made to work with us!
With a higher education, you have at least 5 years of experience in functions related to the LBO universe, ideally with a Capital Market or direct lending perspective.
You master:
Leveraged Finance markets, including High Yield bonds, leveraged loans and unitranche
Strategic and financial analysis, modeling
The legal and tax aspects of LBO arrangements
The use of Bloomberg, Reuters...

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:
Committed, dynamic, rigorous, autonomous, organized, reliable
Able to evolve in a demanding environment, subject to deadlines, and to manage several projects simultaneously
Great relational ease both in writing and speaking
Able to work in a team and collaborate effectively.

You are perfectly proficient in English with a C1 level.
