About the opportunity
Were seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our Investments Team to help shape and elevate our core Investments offerings. Our Investments team is dedicated to empowering retail investors by building accessible, transparent, and innovative wealth-building products. As an Associate Product Manager in this team, youll learn the intricacies of the Product Manager role, ramping up and learning how others do it, while being hands on and contributing to the actual work. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, business, data, compliance, and external stakeholders to build incrementally challenging features and products. Above all, you'll bring a passion for personal finance to the team, using your drive to help people build a better relationship with their money and achieve their goals. - Co-own a teams Roadmap: You will co-define with other Product Managers, and execute incrementally challenging parts of the product strategy. Youll work together in order to ensure theres alignment with N26's broader wealth-building goals and adapting swiftly to shifting market dynamics.
- Drive the Execution: gradually, in order to ramp up into the role, youll drive the product development lifecycle for new and existing Investments featuresfrom initial user research and technical scoping to engineering delivery, go-to- market strategy, and post-launch iteration.
- Navigate Complex Ecosystems: Act as the central node between engineering, design, compliance, and legal teams to safely and swiftly bring scalable products to market while adhering to strict regulatory requirements.
- Build Stakeholder relationships: Working closely with other teams is a fundamental aspect of the success you can have as a product manager. Building relationships with other team players early on is critical.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Dive deep into user behavior, market trends, and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities, optimize the customer journey, and continuously refine our portfolio.
What you need to be successful:
Background:- 2+ years of experience working in a product team, or 3+ years of experience in customer-facing teams which work closely to the product team. Preferred Fintech experience.
- Deep empathy for the user. You care deeply about UX and know how to translate complex financial concepts into simple, intuitive, and engaging customer journeys.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, legal, marketing, and finance teams, as well as managing external B2B relationships.
- Strong ability to interpret investment data, market trends, and user insights to optimize adoption, retention, and product growth.
- Strategic Thinker: Able to craft a long-term product vision while executing effectively in the short term.
- Execution-Focused: Strong ability to ship products, drive operational excellence, and navigate complex financial ecosystems.
- Biased for action: Move forward and make quick decisions.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong ability to interpret investment data, market trends, and user insights to inform product decisions.
- Autonomy & Ownership: Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment with a high level of independence and responsibility.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, legal, marketing, and finance teams.
- Communication & Leadership: Ability to articulate product decisions, drive alignment, and influence at all levels of the organization.
