Your Team Responsibilities

If you are energized by building relationships, uncovering opportunities and helping clients solve complex investment challenges, MSCI is the place for you.

As an Inside Sales Associate within our EMEA Client Coverage team, you will support sales professionals and clients across the region while developing expertise in financial markets, investment solutions and client engagement.

You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Product, Legal, Finance and Operations to help deliver a high-quality client experience and contribute to business growth. This role offers exposure to some of the world's largest institutional investors and provides an excellent foundation for a long-term career in Sales and Relationship Management.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support revenue growth and client engagement by:
  • Partnering with Sales Specialists to support new business development and client relationship activities
  • Qualifying inbound leads and identifying potential opportunities
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals, contracts and client presentations
  • Coordinating across internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client requests
  • Responding to client inquiries regarding MSCI products, data and methodologies
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, opportunities and sales activities
Contribute to the sales process by:
  • Supporting the management of custom index opportunities from initial inquiry through delivery
  • Conducting market and client research to identify business opportunities
  • Assisting with pricing, commercial analysis and contract preparation
  • Gathering client feedback and sharing market insights with internal stakeholders
  • Supporting sales campaigns and outreach initiatives across the EMEA region
Drive operational excellence by:
  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance client experience
  • Collaborating across global teams to support business objectives

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 25 years of professional experience in sales support, client service, financial services or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline
  • Strong interest in financial markets, investment products and institutional investing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English required
  • Fluency in French strongly preferred
  • CFA or FRM certification is advantageous
