Morgan Stanley Securitized Products Sales & Trading Desks are seeking for a self-motivated, highly energetic individual who has pre-eminent interest in Fixed Income markets to join as a Trading Analyst.

The Securitized Products Group is a market leader across a broad range of asset classes including the residential real estate, commercial real estate, transportation and corporate sectors, with expertise in securitization, financing solutions, and other investor products.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Work closely with sales & trading team to assist with post-trade processing

  • Cover SPG products such as ABS, CMBS, RMBS, CLO, Whole Loan, Agency MBS

  • Assist the trading desk to resolve trade booking and settlement issues

  • Assist the trading desk in cleaning up risk issues, consolidating executed documentation, and with counterparty due diligence, vendor onboarding

  • Performing client data mining analysis and reporting to Sales and Trading on findings

  • Work according to NY markets hours

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration

  • 0-2 years of experience in the financial industry or in a support function

  • Solid numerical skills

  • Excel / VBA for spreadsheet analysis work

  • Self-motivation, confident personality, attention to details, ability to handle pressure

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Relevant working experience on a sales or trading desk and understanding of basic Fixed Income products including Mortgage-Backed Securities is a plus.
