We're seeking someone to join our Liquidity Renovation team as a Director in Finance Technology to deliver critical liquidity reporting and analytics capabilities used daily by senior management and Treasury.


In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.

This is a Software Engineering position at at Director (AVP) level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.

  • Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.

  • Develop Python and Angular modules supporting liquidity forecasting and analytics.

  • Build performant data processing solutions using technologies such as Polars, Databricks, Snowflake and Spark.

  • Partner with Treasury and FRS stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

  • Contribute to architecture decisions for critical liquidity reporting platforms.

  • Apply AI proficiency, including understanding of Skills and MCP, to improve engineering outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.

  • Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.

  • Experience in Python and Angular development.

  • Understanding of high-performance data processing frameworks such as Polars, Databricks, Snowflake or Spark.

  • Ability to design scalable, maintainable software architecture.

  • Experience communicating effectively with business users and senior stakeholders.

  • Understanding of AI-enabled engineering concepts, including Skills and MCP.

  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
