What youll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Data & Analytics Engineer in New York, New York to develop and maintain critical trading and servicing applications using Python, Java, React, Spring Boot, and other technologies. Build operations workflows for Fixed Income and Lending business to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Design and implement straight-through processing for servicing and trading of Commercial Real Estate, Leveraged Loans, FID Secured Lending, and more. Integrate data from internal and external sources to provide a holistic view of desk inventories and servicing states for operations. Leverage GenAI to automate manual operations tasks and accelerate trade settlement and event handling for high-volume transactions. Perform unit testing, component testing, integration testing to ensure high quality software is delivered. Monitor applications and provide support in production. Develop automated CI/CD processes for delivering quality software into production. Work in an agile scrum team and contribute to agile processes. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What youll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelors in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or related field of study.

-Requires four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years as an Analyst, Technology; Developer; or related occupation in the technology field.

- Requires Four (4) years of experience with the following skills:

  • Develop and maintain critical trading and servicing applications using Python, Java, React, and Spring Boot;

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $170,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
