Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the Mumbai-based Client Account Servicing (CAS) team, with a core focus on cashflow lifecycle management and client servicing operations.

This role supports Investment Teams, Sales, and Global Client Relationship Management by ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled execution of all client cashflow-related activities and day-to-day client servicing.

The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders including Operations, Surveillance, Client Integration Management, and Client Service Operations, and demands a strong controls mindset, process ownership, and operational discipline. As part of a global team, the role also involves regular collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute daytoday processing of client cashflows (subscriptions, redemptions, rebalances, distributions etc.).
  • Review and validate transaction instructions to ensure completeness and adherence to defined guidelines.
  • Follow up with Operations, the Investment Team, and other relevant stakeholders to help ensure timely execution of transactions.
  • Track and follow up on pending items and escalate exceptions or delays as required.
  • Respond to cashflowrelated queries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Support senior team members in addressing client requests and followups pertaining to cash movements.
  • Collaborate with Global Client Services, Sales, and Relationship Management teams across regions to support clientservicing requirements.
  • Respond to client queries on compliance attestations, audit confirmations, and regulatory documentation, and manage client obligations per the IMA
  • Adhere to established standard operating procedures and control checks.
  • Highlight any discrepancies or risks identified during processing.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying efficiency opportunities.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of investment management operations with deep focus on cashflow processes across institutional and fund structures.
  • Proven experience managing highvolume transactional workflows with strong accuracy and control standards.
  • Understanding of Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) and how their contractual terms translate into cashflow execution requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and exceptionmanagement capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a risk and controls mindset.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a deadlinedriven, global operating environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant workflow, documentation, and case-management tools.
  • 46 years of relevant experience in asset management / financial services operations.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Adaptability and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving operating model.
