We are looking for a Global Capital Markets professional to join our Global Center in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing deal execution support, creating marketing material, conducting research and analytics, and providing internal process support to product teams globally.
You will receive variety of trainings covering financial analysis, business presentations, and practical skills. At the end of training, you will be able to understand financial concepts and have a strong understanding of the Morgan Stanley culture. In this role, you will gain exposure to financial markets and macro trends, build knowledge of banking and capital markets sectors and products, and work with bankers in core locations. High performers will be eligible for internal mobility opportunities globally.


Key Responsibilities
Support live execution and provide analytical support to global Debt Capital Markets (DCM) origination and syndication teams on investment grade debt/ leveraged finance transactions
Support ratings advisory workstreams by assisting in credit analysis, peer benchmarking, and preparation of materials for rating agency interactions
Assist in managing rating agency processes, including preparation of rating presentation decks, coordination of information requests, and tracking of rating actions and timelines
Prepare and update marketing and execution materials, including pitch books, investor presentations, market updates, RAPs and internal documentation
Maintain and enhance DCM databases, and periodic trackers used by senior management and deal teams for market analysis and monitoring
Support market intelligence initiatives by tracking trading levels, evaluating secondary market performance, and analyzing pricing dynamics
Assist in investor targeting efforts by identifying key buyers and tracking participation trends within assigned product coverage
Support roadshow preparation and execution, including wall-crossing processes, investor coordination, and post-deal reporting and analysis
Contribute to process improvement, automation, and technical initiatives aimed at improving data accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of DCM workflows
Provide ad-hoc analytical and operational support to meet evolving business needs and ensure smooth execution across transactions


Skills and qualifications
MBA / CA / Bachelors Degree or equivalent
1 3 years of work experience in related field
Keen interest in corporate finance / Debt Capital Markets
Written competency and spoken language fluency in English
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams
Strong analytical and numerical skills and are at ease with financial data
Agility and ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learn
Ability to manage expectations and handle high-pressure situations
Exceptional attention to detail, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Bloomberg and market data tools (Bondradar, Dealogic, Pitchbook)
Programming and coding experience / knowledge of AI tools is encouraged
