Morgan McKinley is a global talent solutions company dedicated to helping professionals and businesses achieve success. With offices across 10 countries and a team of over 1,000 employees, we build highly specialized talent communities by pairing deep domain expertise with an advisory-first approach. We believe that recruitment is at its best when it moves beyond transactional hiring and operates as a true consultancy.
Your Role as a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are looking for an experienced, market-savvy Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team in Ireland. In this role, you won't just be filling requisitions; you will act as a trusted advisor to top-tier technology talent and hiring manager partnerships.
The modern tech landscape moves rapidly, and the best candidates don't look for jobs, they look for market experts who understand their worth, track ecosystem shifts, and can intelligently advise them on their next career moves. You will be responsible for managing high-touch candidate relationships across complex infrastructure, engineering, and digital transformation disciplines, positioning yourself as an invaluable career partner to the passive market.
Responsibilities Include:
- Trusted Talent Advisory: Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring requirements and provide recruitment expertise, market insights, and talent recommendations.
- Niche Community Sourcing: Proactively map and engage with specialised talent pools across critical technical domains (including Cloud/Enterprise Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Applications).
- Advanced Evaluation & Calibration: Utilise modern recruitment tools and structured frameworks to conduct deep-dive, conversational screenings that look beyond keywords to assess true capability, technical alignment, and cultural fit.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition approval through offer management and onboarding.
- Confidentiality & Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of professional discretion when handling sensitive data, talent pipeline strategies, individual compensation benchmarks, and contract parameters.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ Years of Tech Recruitment Experience or 5 years non tech recruitment experience: Proven experience sourcing within technical verticals, either from a specialised agency tech desk, a consultative internal sourcing team, or an RPO environment.
- The "Advisor" Mindset: A collaborative Talent Acquisition professional who can build trusted relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and business stakeholders while delivering an exceptional hiring experience.
- Advanced Search Capability: Deep comfort with advanced sourcing methodologies, LinkedIn Recruiter, market-mapping techniques, and uncovering passive talent in hidden talent pools.
- Process & Data Discipline: Organised and systematic, with an appreciation for real-time tracking accuracy and data integrity within enterprise ATS systems
- Strong Communication: Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex salary benchmarks and talent motivators.
What You Get in Return:
In return, we offer first-class continuous training, a highly competitive benefits package, and a structured path for professional development within a collaborative, highly supportive team.
- Hybrid & flexible working options
- Competitive salary structure and bonus potential
- Access to our award-winning Training Academy
- Pension contribution scheme
- An open, supportive, and highly collaborative team culture
Our Culture & Values
At the heart of our "Go Beyond" culture are core values that guide everything we do: We Succeed Together, We Simplify the Complex, and We Go Beyond. We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace where every team member can thrive.
