Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret complex data and support credit risk assessments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French and Arabic, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Fundamental understanding of fixed income markets or credit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive team player with a continuous learning mindset, including interest in financial markets, data analytics, and AI-driven tools
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or financial modelling concepts preferred
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency

  • Support Credit Rating Analysts in assigning and monitoring credit ratings across corporates, structured finance, and sovereigns
  • Analyse financial statements, perform financial modelling, and develop forecasts to assess credit risk
  • Prepare rating committee materials and actively contribute to rating committee discussions
  • Draft credit research reports and support publication of analytical insights
  • Monitor market trends, economic developments, and industry news to assess credit quality
  • Leverage digital tools and AI-driven technologies to enhance efficiency and analytical output
  • Assist with investor and issuer engagement by preparing presentations and supporting meetings
  • Continuously develop technical and professional skills through training and on-the-job learning

About the Team

Our Ratings & Research Support (RRS) team is responsible for supporting the credit rating process and ensuring high-quality analytical output across Moodys Investors Service. By joining our team, you will work on impactful projects within global capital markets while developing expertise in credit analysis, financial modelling, and emerging risk areas.
