Skills and Competencies
- 2+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting or a related analytical finance function, including hands-on involvement in month-end close, forecast and budget cycles
- Strong finance and accounting foundation with the ability to interpret results, identify key drivers, assess risks and opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation, data manipulation and financial modeling, to support accurate and efficient analysis
- Experience handling large and complex datasets while maintaining data quality, consistency and control, with the ability to identify anomalies and reconcile information
- Experience with financial systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, planning applications or reporting tools; knowledge of business intelligence tools is preferred
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to take ownership, maintain accuracy under tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and work independently or collaboratively
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency, growing awareness of AI risk management, and commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
Education
- Completed bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
Responsibilities
- Deliver financial analysis, planning and reporting that turns complex data into actionable business insights
- Support month-end close by reviewing financial results, validating data, preparing analysis and explaining material variances
- Prepare and maintain forecasts, annual budgets and financial plans using business drivers, historical trends and stakeholder inputs
- Analyze business performance and provide timely insights on key drivers, risks, opportunities and emerging trends
- Develop and maintain financial models, recurring reports, management presentations and ad hoc analysis for decision support
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand performance drivers, constructively challenge assumptions and communicate recommendations
- Work with large and complex datasets to identify anomalies, reconcile information and ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs
- Use artificial intelligence and other analytical tools responsibly to improve the efficiency, quality and scalability of finance processes
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and stronger controls while managing assigned deliverables with appropriate independence
- Manage assigned deliverables with appropriate independence while collaborating effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.
