Skills and Competencies
- 02 years of experience in financial statement analysis, with a strong interest in capital markets and financial research
- Solid understanding of company filings such as 10K, annual, and quarterly reports, with the ability to perform effective secondary research
- Proficiency in extracting insights from financial statements, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups) and MS Office tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable institute, or MBA (Fresher)
- Candidates who have cleared CFA Level 1 or are currently pursuing CFA are preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze and extract key financial data, insights, and disclosures from publicly available corporate filings.
- Review and interpret core financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements across multiple geographies
- Apply knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and/or IFRS to ensure accurate data interpretation and standardization
- Perform thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure high levels of accuracy and consistency
- Deliver timely, high-quality outputs aligned with defined SLAs and business expectations\
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams while contributing independently to assigned deliverables

The Data Estate Operating Unit is driving a strategic initiative to strengthen Moodys value proposition by enhancing financial data governance, accuracy, and usability across products. By joining us, you will play a key role in analyzing global corporate financial disclosures and transforming them into structured, actionable data. This role offers strong learning and growth opportunities in accounting, financial analysis, and capital markets, while enabling close collaboration with Research Analysts, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and global stakeholders.
