Skills and Competencies

  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Data Validation, Release Management, or Testing within data, analytics, reporting, or enterprise data environments
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and govern enterprise-wide testing frameworks, quality standards, and governance processes
  • Strong expertise in software testing methodologies including functional, regression, system integration, user acceptance, end-to-end, smoke, and sanity testing
  • Deep understanding of data quality, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, dimensional modeling, and modern data platforms such as Databricks
  • Experience with analytics and reporting technologies, including Power BI and related enterprise platforms; knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance, Testing, Data Analytics, or Agile methodologies are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment, governance, and continuous enhancement of an enterprise-wide testing framework supporting data, reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Define and maintain testing standards, release readiness criteria, governance processes, and quality metrics to drive consistent delivery across projects and business-as-usual (BAU) operations
  • Provide independent oversight of testing activities, ensuring adequate coverage, risk mitigation, defect resolution, and successful production deployments
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, and Business teams to ensure solutions are thoroughly validated and meet business and technical quality expectations
  • Drive the adoption and scaling of automated testing capabilities across data pipelines, reporting solutions, and analytical products to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Monitor quality metrics, identify risks and process improvement opportunities, facilitate root cause analysis, and provide leadership with actionable insights on release quality and operational readiness
  • Champion a quality-first culture by promoting best practices, strengthening governance, and continuously evolving testing approaches for modern data platforms and agile delivery models
