  • Help build AI-powered risk tooling, including agents, plugins, and integrations that connect large language models to risk data and platforms Write clean, well-tested Java and Python code, participate in code and design reviews, and help uphold engineering standards and best practices

  • Collaborate closely with engineers across London, New York, Miami, and Bengaluru, and engage with risk managers, quants, and other technologists as you grow into the role

  • Help monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Java and Python services and streaming components to protect data integrity and performance

  • Up to 3 years of software development experience, or you are a strong recent graduate, with hands-on exposure to Java and/or Python (e.g., Core Java, collections, basic concurrency; interest in Java 17+)

  • Solid computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a leading institution, or equivalent experience

  • Practical coding experience through academic projects, internships, or early professional work, with clear evidence of building solutions end to end

  • Interest in AI/ML and large language models, and enthusiasm for building AI-powered applications; hands-on experience through projects, internships, or coursework is a plus

  • Basic knowledge of relational SQL databases, such as Postgres or SQL Server, and willingness to work on the Unix/Linux command line

  • Familiarity with Git, along with an eagerness to learn CI/CD, including Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask questions, seek feedback, and engage in a demanding front-office environment

  • An entrepreneurial, can-do mindset, with curiosity, initiative, and a genuine eagerness to learn and improve. Experience with LLMs, event-streaming platforms, distributed systems, TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular, AWS, or financial markets is a plus
