Kickstart Your Career with Our Three-Year Graduate Scheme

Join us on a three year programme to build a deep understanding of the Actuarial functions within the M&G Finance department. Your journey will start on 14 September 2026 with a cohort-wide induction, blending industry-focused training with insight sessions led by our experienced professionals. From there, youll embark on a programme designed to accelerate your growth:

  • Business Rotations: Participate in structured 18-month rotations across our Finance Actuarial functions. Each placement will help you build technical expertise and broaden your understanding of how our business operates.

  • Professional Qualifications: Well support you to work towards the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), providing dedicated study leave and resources to help you succeed.

  • Professional Skills Development: Alongside your cohort, youll develop essential skills via interactive workshops and self-led missions, covering topics like networking, communication, and personal brand.

To support you throughout the programme youll have a manager to guide your development, a buddy for day-to-day queries, and plenty of opportunities to attend insight events and grow your network across M&G.

What will I be doing?

By joining our Finance function, youll play a meaningful role in helping M&G generate value for the organisation. Finance is at the heart of strategic decision-making - delivering insights, balancing stakeholder needs, and ensuring robust controls and governance to safeguard assets and enhance performance. The successful candidate will:

  • Gain insights into how Finance supports business developments and projects, ensuring good outcomes for internal and external customers.

  • Contribute towards various activities linked to the production of statutory and regulatory reporting and management information.

  • Get exposure to the latest IT systems and technologies used in Finance, learning how digital tools and AI enable efficient reporting and analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in a function that is passionate about ensuring it is a diverse department where colleagues support each other, share information and ideas, and work together towards common goals. Development is a priority where professional qualifications are supported alongside data and technology, leadership and collaboration skills.
