Marex Solutions is a division of Marex Group specializing in the manufacture and distribution of customized derivative products on Equities, Commodities, Credit, FX, Funds, Fixed Income and Digital Assets. These products are distributed to customers through two specialist channels: Risk Management and Financial Products.
Role Summary
An entry level role supporting the OTC Commodities and Foreign Exchange Sales Desks. This role will learn and assist in the distribution of OTC risk management products (both vanilla and structured), with a focus on mid-cap corporate clients. Key focus also on supporting the broader sales teams across our Singapore and Hong Kong offices.
All employees are expected to understand and comply with any Sarbanes Oxley operational requirements relevant to their role.
Overall Responsibilities
- Your primary mandate will be providing support for the FX and Commodities sales teams based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
- This is an entry level role where you will be developing your cross-asset skills across FX, Commodities and Interest Rate markets. so you are able to sell more complex FX products and cross-sell into OTC product set effectively
- You will be responsible for helping Client Acquisition and Business Development functions. You will also gain experience working through Credit and KYC processes.
- As per our ASIC license, your focus will be on Wholesale-only (Professional Investors) clients.

- Ensuring compliance with the companys regulatory requirements under the ASIC.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
- To escalate risk events immediately.
- To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
- The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time

- Good knowledge of financial derivatives (futures, swaps, options).
- A proven track record of managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong risk and compliance ethic with ability to conduct business within Companys policies & procedures and applicable rules and regulations.
- Strategic collaborator with insight and agility, able to anticipate future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness.
Skills and Experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication and sales skills.
- Strong customer focus and ability to work in teams and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
