Joining our Infrastructure Advisory team, you will work with global clients across mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory opportunities, combining analytical expertise with teamwork to help deliver successful client outcomes.

What role will you play?

Working closely with senior members of the Infrastructure Advisory team, you support the execution of strategic advisory and financing opportunities across mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory mandates. Through financial analysis, modelling and the preparation of high-quality marketing materials, you support clients in making informed decisions and drive successful transaction outcomes. You contribute meaningfully to live transactions and business development activities from the outset, while also overseeing analysts, guiding modelling work and helping to maintain the high standards of execution delivered by the team. Reporting to senior leaders within the team, you collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support successful client outcomes. 

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 5 days a week in our advertised location.

What you offer

  • 3-5 years experience in an advisory, corporate finance, project finance, infrastructure lending, valuations or financial modelling environment
  • Strong financial modelling capabilities with a thorough understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies and transaction execution
  • Experience supporting complex transactions and delivering high-quality outcomes within fast-paced, client-focused environments
  • Proven ability to manage priorities effectively, provide guidance to junior team members and contribute positively within collaborative teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language capabilities are advantageous
