What role will you play?

In this role you will support the delivery of the risk strategy for Macquarie Asset Managements Real Assets and Real Estate businesses across Asia Pacific. You will provide guidance on non-financial risk frameworks, policies and governance requirements, partner with stakeholders to address risk-related matters, and support prudent decision-making across transactions, asset management and portfolio management activities.

You will undertake a broad range of risk activities including but not limited to risk assessments, service provider reviews, transaction compliance reviews, incident and issue management, and risk and control assessments.

  • Relevant experience developing or implementing non-financial risk management frameworks, ideally within asset management or investments.
  • Strong understanding of control environments, risk management practices and technology gained through risk, operations or audit roles.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a business.
  • Experience providing risk advice on transactions or projects and partnering with stakeholders to implement controls and process improvements.
  • Ability to identify emerging risks and issues, manage competing priorities, and translate complex information into clear insights.
