- Handson engineering background with the ability to actively contribute to technical design, problemsolving, and delivery, not just provide highlevel architectural guidance
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, highavailability systems in complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience defining and enforcing architectural standards, governance, and best practices across teams
- Ability to balance longterm strategic architecture with shortterm delivery needs
- Knowledge of API design and management, including RESTful services and eventdriven architecture
- Familiarity with observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers, helping to uplift capability across teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment at senior levels
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations, particularly within financial services environments
- Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and roadmaps.
