The Identity Business Engagement Lead is responsible for acting as the primary interface between the Identity function and business. This role ensures that identity services, controls, and initiatives align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational needs while delivering a seamless user experience. 

In this role you will combine stakeholder engagement, governance, delivery oversight, and strategic planning to drive adoption and effective use of identity capabilities across the organisation. This is a high impact role supporting and executing alongside multiple work-streams and manage diverse stakeholders representing technology, risk management and Macquarie business operations.

  • Proven experience building strong relationships with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and challenges, translating business requirements into Identity initiatives and solutions.  
  • Ability to Identify opportunities to improve security, efficiency, and user experience through identity solutions.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of identity services and controls minimising disruption.
  • Ability to define and monitor KPIs and service metrics for Identity services.
  • Proven experience (5 years+) leading functions in technology, cyber security, engineering or another technical domain.  
  • Adept in engaging, collaborating, and communicating with both technical and non-technical colleagues, across different offices and time zones.
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to understand and abstract technical information and transform into commonly understood business language, along with production of high-quality artefacts. 
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and demonstrate resilience. Ability to drive and prioritise your own work and be able to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment. 
  • Familiarity with Identity domains and concepts highly desirable.
