As part of the team, you will be aligned to Public Investments within Macquarie Asset Management and working closely with different business teams such as Enterprise, Client Services and Fund Services. We develop Web Applications, build Microservices, create Serverless Data Pipelines, and creating Data Products in the Cloud to enable the business and maximise business value.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative and motivated team which has an evolving DevOps and Agile culture that provides you ownership of your solutions / applications. You will be closely working with business stakeholders to define business requirements, create/improve solution design and architecture and deliver cost effective cloud solutions. Moreover, you will also have the opportunity to work with a broad range of Engineers and business stakeholders across the globe.

Relevant 4 to 8 years of working experience in Finance preferably in Asset Management is required.
Proven engineering skills with proficiency to use Python and AWS Services for building data pipelines and microservices 
Strong Front-end skills in Angular, React.js or any similar technology 
Skills in CI/CD, Containers, Apache Airflow, Relational and NoSQL Database, Monitoring, Observability and Secrets Management is highly regarded 
Ability to troubleshoot and provide support to business stakeholders as part of a DevOps Team 
Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps/ArgoCD as well as familiarity with Data Lake / Data Warehouse 
Understanding of Secure by Design Principles, Design Patterns and Various Testing Methodologies 
Comfort in proposing designs, gathering feedback from stakeholders, building solutions with reusability in mind, and ability to document/explain how these solutions work
