- Hands-on background in AWS cloud, DevOps, platform engineering or data platform engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services and concepts such as IAM, S3, Glue, RDS, CloudFormation and secure cloud operations.
- Practical skills across Docker and Kubernetes, including tools such as ArgoCD and Helm.
- Familiarity with Airflow or similar data orchestration tools, as well as CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, GitHub Actions or Argo Workflows.
- Infrastructure as code capability, ideally using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar technologies.
- Understanding of data platform concepts, including data ingestion, ETL, SQL databases, S3/object storage and pipeline orchestration.
- Exposure to Spark, Starburst, Presto, Hive, DBT or other big data technologies would be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with internal customers, engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
