What role will you play?

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities within the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) and dealer group market.

You will proactively build relationships with advisers, licensees and key industry stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their business models, growth objectives and client needs. By leveraging your market knowledge and consultative sales approach, you will position Macquarie's wealth solutions to deliver meaningful value and long-term partnerships.

Success in this role will come from your ability to build credibility quickly, uncover opportunities, influence key decision-makers and execute a disciplined business development strategy.

  • Experience in business development, relationship management or sales within financial services, wealth management, platforms or investments.
  • Knowledge of, or a strong interest in, the financial adviser market and broader wealth management industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong prospecting, influencing and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving growth targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences.
