Join Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets Operations team as an Associate/Vice President, Brokerage, where you'll play a critical role in supporting execution services and enhancing operational controls across the Futures and Options business. This is an opportunity to leverage your industry expertise to drive process improvements, reduce operational risk, and partner with stakeholders across the front, middle, and back office functions in a highly collaborative and global environment.

What role will you play?

As an Associate within the Brokerage team, you will oversee key operational controls related to brokerage revenue streams, front office operating expenses, and agency payment arrangements supporting execution services. You will partner closely with front office, clearing, operations, technology, compliance, and legal teams to ensure operational processes are efficient, well-controlled, and scalable. The role involves reviewing existing workflows, identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and mitigate risk, and driving initiatives that improve the overall brokerage operating model. You will also support documentation processes through the FIA Docs platform and assist with related accounts payable activities.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience within a U.S. FCM or comparable global organization in futures and options operations, middle office, market operations, or brokerage support functions.
  • Strong understanding of futures and options products, execution services, brokerage operations, and the full trade lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying control gaps, improving operational processes, and implementing efficiencies within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Ability to effectively partner with front office, middle office, back office, technology, compliance, legal, and clearing teams to deliver solutions and resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Salary range for this position: $101,000 - $137,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
