Full Job Description
Purpose
Applies business requirements and indepth knowledge of software development lifecycles to design, build and lead the delivery of complex software solutions supporting LCH SA Shared Applications.
Acts as a senior technical authority, ensuring software quality, architectural integrity, secure delivery and continuous improvement across the application landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex software solutions in line with business, architectural and security requirements.
- Analyse technical and functional needs and translate them into scalable and maintainable designs.
- Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle (design, build, test, release and run).
- Validate architecture, detailed technical specifications and development deliverables.
- Deploy Agile best practices and contribute to delivery management activities.
- Promote automation and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Contrast) to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
- Ensure high standards of quality assurance, secure coding and compliance with internal policies.
- Support system and technology integration across applications, databases and platforms.
- Produce and maintain technical and architectural documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for Architecture and IT Security teams.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Contribute to innovation, technology governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience in a software development and delivery role, ideally within banking or financial markets.
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Java preferred).
- Strong experience across multiple development technologies with solid understanding of design patterns and antipatterns.
- Exposure to Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance, delivery management and technology governance.
- Experience with enterprise architectures, system integration and distributed systems.
- Fluent English (working language).
