Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer - Customer Success, you will support global financial firms by diagnosing, resolving, and escalating technical issues across our data pipelines. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the reliability and performance of largescale, automated data flows.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, operations, and client supportideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges in a high-impact environment
What Youll Do
Provide technical support for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to batch processing, automation, and data job failures.
Collaborate with other engineering teams to improve pipeline stability and performance.
Manage and monitor processing workflows and job schedules.
Support clients by analyzing incidents, identifying root causes, and driving resolutions or escalations.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with Python, including writing and maintaining object-oriented applications.
Hands-on experience with job scheduling and workflow tools such as Jenkins, Rundeck, Apache Airflow, or similar.
Background working in batch data processing or largescale automated data environments.
Experience with ETL pipelines and Data Lake architectures.
Proficiency with Git version control (GitLab or GitHub).
Strong command of Linux, including server operations, system processes, daemons, and task scheduling.
Comfortable with data movement operations and largescale automation.
Ability to work US shift: 6:30 PM 3:30 AM IST.
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Athena, Dremio, or Snowflake.
Experience with execution platforms like Kubernetes and virtual hardware like AWS EC2, ECS, and EKS.
