We are seeking an Associate AI Product Developer to help design and deliver AI-powered products, workflows, and experiences in complex, data-rich environments.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an early-career, AI-native professional who is passionate about turning emerging AI capabilities into practical, user-focused solutions. You will partner with product, engineering, data, domain, governance, and AI teams to shape, test, and improve AI products/workflows from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and improve AI-powered products, workflows, prototypes, and automation solutions. Translate business and user needs into requirements, workflow builds, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Configure, test, and refine AI behaviors in partnership with product and engineering teams. Evaluate AI outputs for quality, reliability, consistency, usefulness, and potential failure modes.

Identify edge cases, user experience gaps, trust concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Use testing results, user feedback, and performance insights to continuously improve AI capabilities after launch.

Support demonstrations and presentations of new AI solutions and product capabilities. Partner with governance and risk teams to ensure compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Stay current on emerging AI tools, model capabilities, product patterns, and AI-native software development practices. Share insights and standard processes across the broader team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 13 years of experience in AI product development, applied AI, data products, product analytics, UX, or a related product or technical role.
  • Hands-on experience building or supporting AI-powered products, workflows, prototypes, automation tools, or AI platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex problems into clear requirements, workflows, user stories, and testable outcomes.
  • Understanding of AI system behavior, including output variability, hallucinations, latency, quality trade-offs, and user trust considerations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including AI output evaluation and edge-case identification.
  • Knowledge of user behavior and UX principles, with the ability to apply them to AI product design and evaluation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Strong communication skills to explain AI capabilities, product decisions, and trade-offs clearly.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including transparency, fairness, quality, and human oversight.
  • Exposure to product analytics, APIs, automation tools, or low-code/no-code platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $98,900 - $164,900.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/bonus plan). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
